Thanks, Kelly, for spreading some seeds in Williamsburg, Virginia!
Hannah loved horses & her riding lessons. She was quick to tell the story of how her horse bucked her off during one of her early riding lessons. Spoiler alert: She got back on!

A wedding in Mexico? Great opportunity to share the love…. seeds-style!
On their recent trip to London, Nick, Hayly and Garrett plant some Hannah seeds at Buckingham Palace.
From Kimberly Friestad and son, Thomas….
Mike and Nancy,
Thomas and I took the seeds you sent us on our epic RAGBRAI adventure across Iowa from July 19th to July 25th, 2015. Our 540 miles started in Sioux City and ended 7 days later in Davenport. We had overnight stops in Storm Lake, Fort Dodge, Eldora, Cedar Falls, and Coralville, but passed through many smaller towns along the way.
Throughout the ride, we carried the seeds in our bike packs and looked for beautiful spots that we though Hannah would like. We wanted you to have some photos of some of the spots we selected.
Thank you for letting us remember Hannah in such a beautiful and meaningful way.
Much love,
Kimberly and Thomas

Hannah’s friend, Jenna, celebrates Hannah’s birthday by planting seeds outside her Cornell University dorm.
Tad Maguire, Mike’s cousin, found time recently during his business travels to find some special spots for Hannah’s seeds. This picture is of the River Amstel on Hannah’s birthday (Sept. 15).
Tad’s previous Amsterdam plantings were at on Rembrandtplein (= Rembrandt Square), a centerpiece of Amsterdam. It’s a place where people gather for pictures around a sculpture of Rembrandt’s Night Watch. The square is ringed by shops, restaurants and pubs and is teeming with young people. In European tradition, the pubs all have tables on the sidewalk and everyone orders drinks and food and “people watch” for hours on end. It’s a place she would have loved.
Kimberly & Scott Friestad (one of Mike’s college roommates) visited Paris, France recently, and they found plenty of time to scatter Hannah’s seeds.
Thanks to Jeanie & John Crowley for planting Hannah seeds on a beautiful bluff in Bodega Bay, California.
Hannah loved bluffs….. no bluffin’.
